All polyurethane blanks are supplied with a single stringer.

We can customise rockers at no extra cost. Please contact the office for details.

The blanks shown below are polyurethane. We occasionally have some balsa blanks in stock, again please contact us for details.

We can supply polystyrene blanks, see below for more information.

Pre-shaped surfboard blanks

Pre-shaped surfboard blanks

The shaping machine is a CET design built in our workshops to Australian plans. It is not quite as simple as pushing a button and in truth we've only just got the hang of it. Tris has re-awakened his shapers eye and now brings "centuries" of experience to assist in originals, copies and series models.
Lee Bartlett's latest quiver evolved from a copy of his favourite board, with a few surfs and consequent minor tweaks followed by a few more surfs and tweaks until he arrived at what he describes as the "best, liveliest and most reactive boards I've owned to date". You can't expect any shaper to perfectly duplicate only a machine can do that.
We always carry a stock of various shortboards, minimals and mals pre-shaped. As our machine has a drum cutter rather than a router it is unable to shape concaves or turn the bottom of the rail. It is however a lot easier/quicker to clean up and finish.

Surfboard Kits

Surfboard Kits

We have put together a few surfboard kits that may suit your requirements. If they don't, you are welcome to take your trolley round our site and fill it as you see fit.

Surfboard Resin

Surfboard Resin

Generally you will need around 5kg of resin per board. You will also need 1% - 2% by volume of Catalyst and also some Wax with some of the processes. Epoxy Resin comes with its own hardener

Glass fibre

Glass fibre

Glass fibre comes in different weights and widths depending on the use you require. Wider boards require wider fibre. Usual glassing combinations may be a 4 & 6oz combo for the deck and a 4oz on the bottom, although you can use whatever you want at the end of the day. Required per board = (length of board + 30cm) x 3

Chemical Additives

Chemical Additives

Additional products 'some required' to work with the resin and glass fibre. These are dangerous products that should be used with extreme caution.

Speed kote

Speed kote

Spray finish for surf boards a quick alternative to glossing and finishing.

Fluid Earth (R) Fins

Fluid Earth (R) Fins

Remarkable patent-pending bio-composite specifically engineered for surfboard fin production, providing the perfect balance of strength, flex and durability. The resin used is comprised of a minimum of 50% plant derived material, creates 34% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to similar petroleum based resins and uses 32% less fossil fuels to produce.

FCS Fins & Installation

FCS Fins & Installation

Different styles of fins and ancillary products to do with FCS fin systems.

WARNING: Surfing can be a dangerous activity and injuries resulting from being struck by a surfboard are not uncommon. In order to maximise hydrodynamic performance, FCS fins have been designed with sharp edges and a specific fin tip profile. These edges and the tip profile increase the risk of injury in the event that you or others are struck by your surfboard. Homeblown, Fin Control Systems and Surf Hardware International accept no responsibility for injury to you or to others, and these fins are used at your own risk.
